The article reported on two girls, including Syukii, an 18 year old student from Republic Polytechnic, who have taken a step towards acting and singing in the United States. Wan Syukrina is among 20 talented Singaporeans who attended a programme by Premiere Event, one of the world’s largest international programmes for singing and acting talent. She was chosen from among thousands of participants after successfully making it through two auditions at Marina Bay Sands in August. She had the opportunity to train with Broadway actors in Florida.
